This machine is slot simpler than it looks, on the gold blocks he switched his left and the right, which means it works when it wrong. He probably has it set up so if you push the last button on the redstone blocks you get a prize anyways

i am not sure about doors, slabs or signs. but torches and lillies, as well as flowers, and grass, should all be destroyable in AM. don't quote me on that though. I'm not a devo.
