- Scores are out of 100, where 100 = faultless/perfect, and 0 = totally void of merit/worst song ever.
- Do not use fractions.
- Commenting on songs is optional.

Some aspects to consider when scoring:
- Sound design: ingenuity with and manipulation of the source samples, modification of samples to create new sounds, etc.
- Composition: structure, melody, harmony, rhythm, basically how well written you think the song itself is, etc.
- Production: mixing/mastering (balance between instruments, overall loudness if it's a factor), stereo field use, frequency spectrum use (good use of EQ), use of effects, etc.
- Overall enjoyment: simply how much you like the song.
- Anything else you deem important.

consider these elements on a case by case basis, as some may be more or less applicable depending on the song. how much you factor each into your scoring is up to you - if you wish, you may set aside a certain number of points for each element if it makes the judging process easier for you, however the total scores are the only thing that will be relevant in score calculations.

An alright song, I guess. Just didn't really seem very
interesting. Just kind of droned on and on, and took too
long to get anywhere. I don't really dislike it, but I
can't say I like it a lot.

A Song for My Cat
Comments:
Now THIS I like! I have to laugh at all the cats in songs,
I really didn't think it would be used very much. The
two things that stick out to me first are the unusual
chord changes, and the similarity to the Sonic 3 competition
theme. I've always kind of liked that song, so of course
I'm gonna like this. I find it interesting how the samples
like Bagel and Ferris Bueller, although being unfitting,
don't seem to harm it at all...

Creative Chaos much? I'm sure there's a better word for it,
but I can't think of it at the moment. Reminds me a little
bit of some of Jonah Backfish's darker stuff. I definitely
wouldn't want to listen to this on a dark night all alone.
Yes, I admit it, that stuff scares me. I'm really impressed
on what you did with the samples on this one though,
you've did some incredible work with what you had, I
certainly couldn't have made this song. This is definitely
one of the long time SPC artists, but I don't know who.

Alleyway in Chinatown
Comments:
This is really not a very good song. Not sure who did it
though. The sample you used for the guitarish thing in
the beginning is really poor for it, and it drags down
the rest of the song. This is one of those songs that seems
like you had an idea of a song, and then you tried making
it out of the samples, instead of taking the samples and
letting them be your inspiration. I can appreciate the song
you were trying to make though, and I can respect it for that.
And lol, cats again!

 It sounds like... Dasani.
You definitely captured that crystal clear atmosphere well
with this. As for sample ingenuity, it's ok, it didn't
really suffer from the samples not fitting in well.

Aya Hirano's Megaton Punch
Comments:
Best use of the cats so far.
I did laugh out loud in the beginning with the ridiculous
brass and cats. Seems to me this isn't the only time a song
has been about Aya Hirano... I actually somewhat liked this
song too, even it being a semi-joke song I believe. The sample
work is nice in some places, especially at 0:49. I have to ask,
is any of this inspired by Ocean Base from Sonic Advance?
There is incredibly similar parts, especially at 1:34.

Candy Rock Jam
Comments:
Blitz Lunar I presume? 
Another one of the few songs thatinterested me right from
the start. A little spazzy at times,has a lot of different
melodies in it, my favorite beint at 0:38

Cloudtrip
Comments:
My first thought was "Ugg this is gonna be painful" but I was
wrong. It proceeded to get better, starting with the pads
and the leads in the beginning. Then when the drums come
in, and I started liking it a lot. It portrays the cloudy
ascension feeling awesomely in the beginning, and then it's 
a nice turn when you get the more intense ominous sounds at
1:05. I actually like this song more every time I listen to it,
There's just something about it, with the impressive bass line
throughout it, and the electric guitar pulled off perfectly.
I might have to contact whoever made this when it's released,
It'll fit perfectly in a level I'm making for Srb2...
Yes, I could make my own song for it, but after hearing this,
nothing I can do will sound good enough.

KungFuFurby again? It's pretty much the exact same drums
as were in HappyFurbyTune last time. A, well, OK song, but
nothing special I have to say about it. Except that it is
boring to listen to.

Now this is is kinda cool. I like the way the song goes in
the beginning and towards the end, but that section in the
middle seems kind of weak. Not sure why, but I just really
don't like that section in the center. If I'm correct, DHR
has been here, has he not?

are WAY too much. It's getting kind of old. Kind of a neat
melody in this one, but it never gets anywhere.

whistle among all the samples somehow. Haha, seriously,
Extra Antler Velver? Can I ask why it was named that? It
gives me the funniest images of giant deer stomping around
Godzilla like. For some reason, it's VERY addicting to listen
to! :D

Aw I love this one! Rings of Ecco Soundtrack, which has
always been one of my favorites. It's how it stays quiet
most of the time dynamically, yet still remains interesting.

This is a rather boring song, it didn't grab my attention
at really any point at all. It sounds a little bit like it
might have the same author as Cloudtrip, but I'm not sure on
that.

Comments:
I love cutesy music like this! It's like a mix between
Christmas, Animal Crossing, Mother 3, and lots of SPC.
Reminds me of Trail to Sugarglaze Summit... That could mean
Lunar made it, but I don't think so for some reason.

Can opener, Haha nice. Besides that nothing stuck out to me
in the song. The samplework is really horrid too, they sound
disgusting!

The name sounded promising...
First of all, that constant pattern over and over again is,
for one thing, WAY too loud for how dull it is. At least at
1:11 it improved for a short while there. But what was with
the melody there? It seemed like you just hit random notes,
no pattern or anything to it, just... Random.

Legend of Sample Pack Compo
Comments:
More like Legend of Sample Pack Clipping. Talk about WAY
too much clipping! Is it just me, or some of the tunes in
here a little close to Legend of Zelda tunes, especially
Zelda's Lullaby? Most of this song isn't very good, but that
section at 2:36 was so amazing I wondered why the rest of the
song wasn't that neat. Then it repeated over and over again,
and the amazing feeling wore off. :(

Martian Lab at Midnight

Definitely in the top 5. I can easily picture the dark
resonant lab at midnight. Suddenly an alien pokes his head
out,and as the disco ball descends from the ceiling, all the
aliens come and start pulling the funky moves. Awesome ending
too, with the crash and alien noise. Yeah. Did I mention I
like it a lot? It makes me want to breakdance! Too bad I cant'!

Medium Zero
Comments:
This one is cool with headphones on. I guessed from the name
that it was Kris-Work, and it definitely is. It follows a
similar chord pattern to what you use in most of your songs,
but I commend you on the fact that this one has a whole
different feeling to it, much more industrial and less
wasteland-ish than most of your songs appear to me.

Mr. Huffletuff's Kitty Cat Cosmic Escapades
Comments:
This was one of the only ones that got my attention right
from the start. Best use of the cats in the whole contest.
I can just picture Mr. Huffletuff exploring the universe in
the Huffletuff Spacecraft, with his whole empire of genius
cats, who can't talk, but are nevertheless, geniuses.
Blue.Nocturne made this if I'm correct? It just sounds like
your style, especially in the way it's panned, and the fact
that it has elements of Falling Raindrops and Snowflake
Village in it.I love the way this whole song flows! It keeps
interesting,never staying too long on one pattern, but never
switching at the wrong time. Ahaha, the last meows in the
song sound just like my cat when he's parading around the
house mreowling with a catnip mouse he "caught" in his mouth.

The sweet ending part at 1:52 is to die for!

I can see Deborah sitting on her soft cushioned chair, her
fat flowing over the edge. She stares lovingly at the
bananas advertisement, wanting what she cannot have, and
drooling over her forbidden love. The sad thoughts of
love that can never be satisfied pass through her mind, and
she prides herself on such a sadly romantic thought.

Haha, but seriously, this is THE song I put the sample in for.
I was just dying for someone to make this song, and you did it.
I am forever grateful to you, whoever you are.

Compositionally it's pretty interesting, takes a lot of
patterns that you don't usually hear.

At least this one is pretty good compositionally. It too
sounds a little Lunar-ish to me. Geez, I say that about every
one that I don't know otherwise about. lol, what's with that
spasm at 1:19?

Omnious Abbey
Comments:
I was gonna make a song like this at first! There were so many
good scary sounds!Reminds me of Stop & Go Station a little bit.
It completely changes pace at 1:05 though, that was kind of
unexpected. It kind of loses it's ominous feeling then too,
I was a little disappointed. An overall nice piece, but not
very ominous in the second part. It's kind of like you just
gave up on being ominous halfway through.

This one had potential! It caught my attention right away,
and got interesting. I was expecting something Super Mario
Galaxy-ish, and then... Beatnick Santa and Music Induced
Insomnia happened. Why? It'sstill cool, but it just seems
like it would've made moresense without it. I get the
coolest mental images from this song though!

I never really gave this one a listen until now though.
I didn't even notice all the little touches of orchestral that
give it a real neat feel. I just wish it had went down that
path more, instead of switching to what it did... It's really
cool either way, though. I don't even know why I like it so
much, but I really do.

Perfect! I can't throw one complain about this song out to
you. One thing I love is how every time you introduce that
ascending theme, it's a little different.
What is the Duckdragon supposed to be? To me it sounds
like the most epic roller coaster ride ever!
