Controls-
Arrow keys - To move around
Talk to npc's/Confirm/Select or Use Chip - C
Cancel/Back a menu/Fire Buster or Charge Buster  - X
Misc stuff - Z
Open menu on overworld - Enter

To talk in game, hit the control button on the keyboard, and type your message.
When you are finished typing, hit control again to send it.



Misc Info:
If you need to be healed in game, head to the northeast of the first area and talk to Meddy.
She will heal you to full health.
