The apprentices survive and become influential presences in the pseudo-subterannean world, some possibly disappearing from the face of the public
The original scientists either die or go missing without a trace; have little remaining presence

This group discovers a new gas (in space?) that emits a light extremely similar to sunlight, and has magnetic/gravitational properties when properly manipulated
They propose a grand-scale project that would create the ceiling of the pseudo-subterannean world to protect their world from the threat of overlarge meteors and a potential end to the world as they know it
This plan is something to the extent of filling the earth's core with this new gas, which would cause goliath volcanoe(s) to form on the surface and erupt floating lava that would spread high above the people throughout the atmosphere
Sustaining plant life beneath this magma shell would be achieved by use of this new gas (perhaps stapulates relevant to this? created to sustain oxygen flow?)
The world's greatest leaders OK the plan and unite to provide their resources, supporting this project which aimed to save mankind from its greatest threat, with one requirement: the scientists must devise a way to destroy the shell once the threat has been averted and the air beyond the shell is liveable

Things take a sudden turn for the worse as this threat moves toward the Earth quicker than predicted or expected
The method of dismantling the shell is immediately thrown into stages of intense planning, and preparations for the shell-forming catalyst begin
It is decided and agreed upon by the scientists that the shell-destruction method would be incredibly complex and put beyond the control of mankind for the sake of their safety
Fearing the high probability of opposition to this by all world leaders, the scientists agree to deceive the leaders into thinking a different approach was taken to the method of shell-destruction - one within their control
   This leads the people of the future to eventually believe the scientists had abandoned them, and planned against humanity, once they find out.
The scientists move forward with their own plan, constructing the many elements to the complicated world-scale puzzle which revolved around one "being:" Liutras. Meanwhile, the shell creation catalysts near completion

The false method of dismantling the shell is said to be a man-made island housing a giant elevator
This is protected by multiple forms of security, which only the world leaders together would be able to open
The elevator is said to lead to a subterranean chamber which houses the means to dismantle the shell
The scientists hire a team to build the chamber, the elevator, its security protocols, and the island with only light supervision from the scientists themselves, since they don't actually intend to put anything useful in the chamber (maybe simply an analysis unit which reports the status of the shell-dismantling system, but which has no control to activate or interfere with it)

Liutras begins fully robotic (looking and acting), and is dubbed Liutron(?) in this form
Each of Liutras' parts are developed separately
The scientists deem that when Liutras' AI is able to find each of its parts and connect them on its own will be the time Liutras is ready to be put in stasis - only to be awakened when the shell can be safely destroyed
Liutras begins, in this game (Illuminous Awake), as a cybernetic AI which must find its way through the lab network to its host body
Once it finds its body, it wanders in darkness until it finds its optical unit
A similar procedure is followed to discover vitality (HP), self-repair, its weapon, special weapons, and weapon energy
Once Liutras finishes this preliminary test and gathers its basic parts, it is sent through four tests, each designed by one of the four senior scientists (can choose to do them in any order), with a fifth available after those four which is created by Keinemas, and which ends the game
Story-wise, the game ends with the beginning of the shell creation and the dismantling of an accomplished Liutras, who is placed into stasis

Liutras is heavily redesigned in (deeper) secret during the last days of the shell-formation process, disguised to look and seem just like a human
All of his superhuman abilities are confined to a tool named the light harpoon, and a system disguised to feel like "emotions" or "gut instinct" to Liutras is put in place to guarantee that he will find the tool when necessary
All of his life essence is extracted in the form of a blue glowing sphere and sealed within a small structure disguised in/as a stalactite on the underside of the shell
The rest of Liutras is sealed in a facility/chamber deep under the sea (where now small bubbles of the luminous gas float up from the sea floor)
The apprentice scientists know of Liutras, but nothing of this redesign
At least one of the apprentices becomes impatient with the supposed coming day of the shell's destruction, and begins to seek out Liutras (can guess all the story elements here, such as Liutras being completely overlooked as a human at first, then they think he knows something or that he has the key, and a startling-to-the-apprentice(s) realization later-on that Liutras is the shell key)

Seven Waves begins with Liutras floating on the sea - this is how he is released from stasis
Liutras' life essence descends from above and enters his body
He is initially unconscious, and a training program disguised as a dream runs through his mind as he lays atop the sea
The program's purpose is to introduce Liutras to his new body, and some of the basic uses of the light harpoon (in the dream he will use a featureless energy in his hands instead of the actual light harpoon)
This dream finishes and the game begins with Liutras waking on a sea shore, most likely



- Self-destruct uses weapon energy, and thus reacts differently depending on the weapon used. Must have full WE bar to execute, thus self-destruct (normal shot's ability) is always available. Other weapons may not self-destruct at all, but use highly volatile attacks at the cost of all WE for that weapon.
- Weapon refill bar: increases as more enemies are defeated. Press a button or access an option to drain the bar and subsequently refill WE. Bar drain rate accelerates as it is held, and the rate resets when let go. Bar refills once let go, but can only fill back up to a limit defined by a background bar which drains at a slow, static rate. Background bar can not drain below the actual refill bar position. Background bar drain-speed slows according to the number of enemies defeated, and stops completely if all enemies (but the boss) are defeated in the current level/area.
