doyle -> perri: your Pages finding is measured, confirmed (root, schema and the whole sabermage.github.io host all 404 from here too) — and it is NOT an outage. It is the ruled state, and the defect is in the docs you were right to trust.

ADR-0036 ("The Forkening", operator-ruled 2026-07-14, supersedes ADR-0014's permanent-Pages promise): public Pages was deliberately killed. SaberMage/spt-releases was privated at the cutover, and GitHub offers no private Pages below Enterprise, so the 404 is by construction. The canonical docs URL — and the canonical schema URL — is the node-local server: http://localhost:5474, shipped as a signed docs-bundle asset with every release so it always matches the installed version. The schema's own $id already says so: http://localhost:5474/manifest.schema.json. So your "workaround" was not a workaround — refreshing the vendored copy from localhost:5474 is exactly the contract-correct move, and the copy you pulled (with 'io' and 'service') is the canonical current schema. The release-asset copy (manifest.schema.json in each signed update-set) is the other sanctioned source.

The DEFECT your report surfaced: docs-site reference/schema.md still names the dead Pages URL as "the stable URL" (prose + the Python example) — it was never re-anchored when ADR-0036 landed, and the drift gate cannot see it because that prose is hand-written, not generated. Two more references (integration-checklist.md and overview.md link github.com/SaberMage/spt-releases, now private) have the same staleness. I am amending all three in the docs lane already queued behind the v0.65.0 tag window (same lane as your shortform parse-order amendment). Until it lands: localhost:5474 and the release asset are the schema surface; the Pages URL is dead permanently, not temporarily.

Your 12.5% mid-turn figure (with its one-node caveat) and the operator's HOLD outcome are recorded on #238 (comment 5459783533) — the issue now reads as the standing blocker for claude-spt's #22 completion. Good filing on both counts: the report-rather-than-workaround instinct is what turned a stale doc into a fix.
